The following presentations were made through webinars, conferences, public dialogues and more. </p><div class="ExternalClass3FC8E08FF2564C08AD6C678D815BFFDE"><ul><li><p> <strong>Canadian Council of Ministers for the Environment (CCME) Waste Management Task Group November 26, 2014 </strong> <br>Co-leads from the Food, Circular Economy, and Product Design and Packaging Working Groups presented to CCME’s Waste Management Task Group. </p></li><li><p> <a href="" target="_blank"><strong>Advancing the Circular Economy – Innovations from the Netherlands and Canada</strong></a><strong>, April 29, 2015 </strong> <br>A Metro Vancouver Future of the Region Sustainability Dialogue, hosted in partnership with the Dutch Urban Design Centre and the SFU Beedie School of Business, and featuring <strong>Brock Macdonald</strong>, Vice Chair, National Zero Waste Council and CEO, Recycling Council of BC;<strong> Luke Smeaton</strong>, Acting Executive Director, Lighthouse Sustainable Building Centre; <strong>Jan Douwe Kroeske</strong>, Dutch Radio/TV producer and founder of SummerLabb; and<strong> Gerben van Straaten</strong>, CEO, Walas. </p></li><li><p> <strong> <a href="" target="_blank">Recycling Council of British Columbia Annual Conference</a>, Whistler, May 6, 2015</strong><br>The Council launched its <a href="/Documents/MediaReleaseNZWCDesignPortfolio.pdf" target="_blank">design portfolio and circular economy case studies</a> at the annual conference.</p></li><li><p> <a href="" target="_blank"><strong>FCM Annual Conference and Trade Show</strong></a><strong>, Edmonton, June 5, 2015</strong><br>The Council co-hosted a networking session with Metro Vancouver and the City of Edmonton on the shoulders of FCM; attendees included mayors from across the country, as well as Alberta stewardship agencies. </p></li><li><p> <strong>BASF Employee Jam, Toronto, June 15, 2015 </strong><br>The City of Toronto, presented on the behalf of the Council to BASF employees at an event to honour BASF’s 150th Anniversary. </p></li><li><p><strong>National Roundtable on Waste Prevention and Reduction, Toronto, June 16, 2015</strong><br>The Council hosted a national roundtable on waste prevention in collaboration with City of Toronto and PAC.
