Complex issue demands diverse expertise

Main engines of activity in the Council include our working groups, whose members play a key role in guiding the work of our Secretariat in each of the three main areas of focus.

Like other complex-wicked-problems, food waste calls for coordinated action across different sectors on various fronts. Managers, employees, suppliers, service providers, consumers, food banks, regulators and others all need to be engaged.

Our Food Working Group brings together experts with the diverse skills needed for such a complex challenge:
